About the ZT410
The ZT410 and its 6-inch sibling the ZT420 are the workhorses of Indian pharma and automotive lines. They take 450m ribbon, which is the main practical difference from the ZT230 — fewer changeovers on a continuous line. Both are commonly specified at 300dpi, and at 300dpi a wax ribbon that looked fine on a 203dpi machine often prints grainy, because the smaller heat elements need finer ink particles. That is usually why a ribbon appears to stop working after a printer upgrade.

110mm × 450m is the standard size for this model. Because we slit in-house you are not restricted to it — if your label is 60mm, order a 60mm ribbon rather than paying for 110mm and wasting the overhang.
Which grade for a ZT410
The printer does not decide the grade — the label material and the conditions it has to survive do. The ZT410 runs all three families.

All CW-series ribbons are tested on Zebra printers. Core sizes: ½ inch and 1 inch. Winding: inside wound (standard for most Zebra models). Specify your model when ordering for confirmed compatibility.

What ribbon size does the Zebra ZT410 / ZT420 use?+
110mm × 450m on a 1" core, inside wound. At 450m a roll covers roughly 4,500 labels at 100mm pitch. We slit 25mm – 160mm, so a non-standard width for your label is not a problem.
Is the ZT410 inside or outside wound?+
Inside wound. Load the opposite winding and the ink faces away from the label, so the page comes out blank — it reads as a printer fault but is a ribbon orientation problem.
Which ribbon grade should I use in a ZT410?+
Grade follows the label, not the printer. Industrial units like the ZT410 usually run mixed media, so most sites keep a wax for paper and a wax-resin or resin for synthetics rather than compromising on one grade for both.
Can I get a free sample for my ZT410?+
