Why ribbon size matters
Using the wrong ribbon size wastes money and causes print problems. Too wide — you waste ribbon material on every label. Too narrow — unprinted edges and potential printhead damage. Wrong core — the roll won't fit your printer's spindle. Wrong winding — ink faces the wrong way, producing blank labels.

How to read this chart
Max Width: the widest ribbon the printer accepts. You can use narrower ribbons — just ensure the ribbon is wider than your label by 3–5mm.
Common Ribbon: the most frequently ordered size for this printer. Codewell offers any width from 25mm to 160mm and any length from 50m to 600m.
Core: ½" (12.7mm) for desktop printers, 1" (25.4mm) for industrial printers. Some printers accept both — check your manual.
Winding: Inside wound means the ink faces inward on the roll. This is standard for 95%+ of flat-head printers. Outside wound is rare and used mainly in near-edge/TTO printers.
