TSC TE200 / TE210 ribbon — size, core and grade
The TSC TE200 / TE210 takes 110mm × 300m ribbon on a 1" core, outside wound (ink side out).
Codewell Image manufactures that ribbon in Badli, New Delhi — wax, wax-resin and resin grades, slit to your label width, with a free sample before you order.
About the TE200
The TE200 and TE210 are TSC's 203dpi desktop printers, with a 108mm print width. TSC's manual lists two ribbon rolls for them, so check which one you run before ordering. The long roll is 300m on a 1-inch core, with a roll diameter of up to 67mm. The short roll is 110m on a ½-inch core, with a roll diameter of up to 40mm. For the same print volume the 300m roll means roughly a third as many roll changes. Both rolls are wound ink side out, and TSC lists no inside-wound option for either. Ribbon width runs from 40mm to 110mm, so within our 25–160mm slitting range, 40mm is the narrowest width this printer is specified for. TSC's TE manual covers the TE200, TE210, TE300 and TE310, so read the model plate before ordering: a TE200 or TE210 belongs on this page, and a TE300 or TE310 has its own page. For paper labels wax suits: CW-11 on uncoated paper, CW-12 on semi-gloss or coated paper. Polyester (PET) and polypropylene (PP) labels need wax-resin or resin, not wax.

Also takes 110m rolls on a ½-inch core.
110mm × 300m is the standard size for this model. Because we slit in-house you are not restricted to it: you can order a narrower width that is still a few millimetres wider than your label, so less ribbon overhangs and goes to waste.
Which grade for a TE200
The printer does not decide the grade — the label material and the conditions it has to survive do.
High-volume paper label printing (TSC TE210, TE310)
General-purpose coated paper labels (TSC TTP-244 Pro)
Harsh environment labels (TSC TTP-2610MT)
Maximum-durability synthetic labels (TSC MH240, MH340)

Loading ribbon in a TSC printer
TSC desktops (TE, TC, TX, TTP-244 Pro, TTP-247, TTP-345) take outside-wound ribbon (ink side out); the industrial MH, ML, MB, MX and TTP-2410M models accept both. Core size: ½ inch for the TC series; 1 inch for the TTP-244 Pro, TTP-247, TTP-345, TX and all industrial models; the TE series takes either (300m on 1 inch, or 110m on ½ inch).
TSC TE200 / TE210 ribbon — common questions
What ribbon size does the TSC TE200 / TE210 use?+
110mm × 300m on a 1" core, outside wound (ink side out). At 300m a roll covers roughly 3,000 labels at 100mm pitch. We slit 25mm – 160mm, so a non-standard width for your label is not a problem.
Is the TE200 inside or outside wound?+
Outside wound — the ink side faces out. Load an inside-wound roll instead and the ink faces away from the label, so the label comes out blank; that reads as a printer fault but is a winding problem. Also takes 110m rolls on a ½-inch core.
Which ribbon grade should I use in a TE200?+
Grade follows the label, not the printer. Desktop units like the TE200 are most often paired with paper stock, where wax (CW-11 or CW-12) is the right grade. Move to wax-resin only if the label is coated or synthetic.
Can I get a free sample for my TE200?+
Yes. We manufacture in Badli, New Delhi and send samples so you can print on your own TE200 with your own label stock before ordering volume. Wash-care and resin grades in particular are worth testing rather than taking on spec.
Need a size the TE200 does not take as standard? We slit 25mm – 160mm.
